A practical starting point for the official English build, recent player-facing patches, and the guides most useful after installing or returning to The Scroll of Taiwu: Beyond the Dome (太吾绘卷:天幕心帏).
English 1.0 is live
Launched June 17, 2026
Official English localization is available for the core game. The game has patched rapidly since 1.0, and this site tracks player-facing changes and isolated localization gaps that affect English beginners.
The update adds context-aware filters and sorting across cultivation, study, the world map, character lists, and village work; streamlines crafting; reworks the Wicked Beggars encounter; and makes successors inherit the previous Taiwu's non-clothing equipment and presets.
Patch #260714 makes the first Secret Tome follow your highest eligible attainment
The first Secret Tome now follows Taiwu's highest Martial Arts Attainment outside Qi, Unique, and Footwork Arts. The patch also safeguards Mystic True Demon and Wulin Tournament progression and improves goods refresh and medicine UI.
Patches #260710 and #260711 improve damage, village sorting, quest hints, and Sword Mound UI
Damage details now mark vital hits, inheritance assignments can sort by villager work status, Swordsmith and Sanguine quest hints are clearer, and the Fenghuang Cocoon entrance icon is fixed.
Patch #260709 improves UI clarity and fixes targeted story and character issues
The patch adds a clearer hibernation-chamber return button, cleans up mastery and tooltip wording, improves Jieqing assassination commissions, and fixes Yuanshan, Liuli, inheritance, and awakening issues.
Patch #260629 adds martial-art search, better sorting, and a broad UI pass
This update makes shops and item panels easier to read, improves the function wheel and battle hints, adds martial-art name search, expands item and character sorting, and fixes dozens of encounter and interface issues.
The Scroll of Taiwu: Beyond the Dome left Steam Early Access as v1.0 on June 17 in Beijing time. Steam may show June 16 in earlier time zones.
English support
Official English localization live
The core English UI and subtitles are live. Isolated event, DLC, or deep-system strings may still need fixes, so key Chinese terms stay visible for cross-checking.
New-player coverage
Beginner routes, factions, saves, travel, combat
Start with the beginner guide, then open a focused answer when a specific system blocks your run.
After an update
What players should check first
Update to the newest public Steam build before troubleshooting a bug or following an older workaround.
Re-check travel, saves, NPC behavior, and martial-art interactions after patches because these systems have changed repeatedly.
Keep Chinese names visible when comparing older community guides with the current English UI.
If a problem persists, record the build number, page or menu, and exact steps before reporting it.
Get occasional notes when beginner routes, faction pages, martial-arts data, or official terminology summaries change.
Correction policy
If you spot a mismatch with the official English 1.0 wording, send the page URL, the Chinese term, the official English term, and a screenshot or source note through the contact page.
