About this project

Built for the English 1.0 window

Scroll of Taiwu Guide is an independent fan project built to turn years of Chinese-language knowledge into readable English guides, databases, and tools.

The editorial goal is to make a difficult Chinese sandbox legible for English readers without pretending that a single guide can solve the whole game. Pages are updated when the live client, Steam announcements, official patch notes, or repeatable player reports clarify a term or mechanic. Short database entries are kept separate from longer guides so readers can tell the difference between a quick lookup and a tested explanation.

Editorial stance

The site prioritizes beginner clarity, source-aware translation, Chinese term visibility, and practical internal links. It is not a pure machine translation dump.

Terminology

Each system, faction, and martial art is presented with its original Chinese term beside the English label, so readers can map this site directly to in-game text and Chinese community guides.

Public identity and privacy

The site uses the Scroll of Taiwu Guide project name publicly instead of publishing private operator names, personal accounts, or private addresses. Corrections and source notes go through the site mailbox on the contact page, which keeps the public editorial process clear without exposing personal information.

Source and correction policy

Pages are built from the public Steam listing, official announcements, and years of Chinese community knowledge about how Taiwu's systems actually play. Guides are reviewed against in-game behavior and cross-checked with official patch notes and player reports, and they are updated as the game changes.

  • Chinese terms stay visible beside key English labels so anything can be verified against the game.
  • Corrections from readers are welcome and folded back into the guides, glossary, and database.
  • Updates prioritize the glossary, beginner guide, factions, martial arts, and tools.
